Hey y’all! Welcome!
“Follow your dreams, no matter how long they take.”
I’m Elizabeth, a 39-year-old wife and boy mom living in a small town in Tennessee. I’ve lived my whole life in the south and can’t imagine being anywhere else. Life of a Southern Girl is a space for me to share my love of the south and my appreciation for the people that live here. From southern food to soulful southern stories, I hope to bring you a little piece of the south no matter where you are. Launching Life of a Southern Girl has been a dream of mine for the last decade, and I’m beyond thrilled to share this space with you.

3 Things to Know About Me

“The most beautiful voice in the world is that of an educated Southern woman.”
Winston Churchill

I could write a long paragraph about who I am, but I’d like to fill out a small survey about myself!
